What is my order status?
As soon as your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This is our way of letting you know that we got your order! Please allow approximately 1-3 business days for a follow up email containing your tracking number. These tracking numbers are generated as soon as your package is ready to ship. If you do not receive an email with your tracking number, feel free to contact or 313-982-6140 at any time.

Do you have (insert item) in stock?
Generally, if an item is not currently available on our website, it is not available to purchase online or in the store. Please check back with us frequently. We add new products and update our stock levels on a regular basis.

Can I expedite my order?

While we only offer ground services online, on a case by case basis we may be able to expedite your order. If you have any questions about whether your item is available to ship using express services, please contact or 313-982-6140 more information.

What do I do if my order of The Henry Ford Gift Card does not process?
If you have issues completing your order of a Gift Card, please call The Henry Ford Contact Center at 313.982.6001. If you are having trouble completing your purchase with your Gift Card as a payment, please contact EML Customer Service at 1.800.755.8713.

When will I receive my Gift Card?

Your card will be mailed to you. You should receive it in 7-10 business days after purchase via USPS or UPS standard delivery.

Does The Henry Ford Gift Card ever expire?
The funds on The Henry Ford Gift Card never expire. If the card becomes damaged, you may have a new card issued. Please call EML Customer Service at 1.800.755.8713.

Can I redeem my gift card for cash?
The Henry Ford Gift Cards are nonrefundable and may not be redeemed for cash at any time.

Where can I use The Henry Ford Gift Card?
The Henry Ford Gift Card can be used to purchase anything on The Henry Ford's premises (tickets, food, retail, memberships, etc.). You can also use it on our website to make a purchase. The Henry Ford Gift Card may be used for making purchases on-site at The Henry Ford, online at or and through The Henry Ford Contact Center at 313.982.6001.

Please note that your purchase must be for the full amount or greater than the total amount of your Gift Card to use the card for an online purchase. We cannot offer a split payment transaction for any online purchases.

What if I want to spend more than the card value?
The Henry Ford Gift Card can be combined with another form of payment to complete a purchase on premises only. We are not able to accept split payment forms for any online purchases. Be sure to notify the cashier before your purchase is processed.

What happens if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen, please contact 1.800.755.0019 immediately to lock the funds. Lost or stolen cards may not be replaced without adequate proof of purchase (original Gift Card receipt) and the corresponding card number. Please treat The Henry Ford Gift Card as cash; if it is lost or stolen, the card could be used by someone other than yourself.

How do I keep track of my balance?
You can check your card balance at or by calling The Henry Ford Contact Center at 313.982.6001 or EML Customer Service at 1.800.755.0085. You can also write in your latest balance in the space provided on the back of the card. When you use The Henry Ford Gift Card, the approval code at the bottom of your receipt represents your remaining balance. Example 58X17 = $58.17

What if I want to return items purchased with The Henry Ford Gift Card?
The Henry Ford will give store credit for returns on retail items. Returns and exchanges should be made within 30 days of purchase and require an original receipt and the original product packaging. Payment will be returned in its original form. In the absence of a receipt, only an exchange may be made. In most cases, tickets purchased using The Henry Ford Gift Card are not refundable or exchangeable.
