Here is a gift where a new generation can experience mid-century modern play with "The Toy" from Eames Office. Originally introduced in 1951, Eames Office designed The Toy for adults, teenagers, and children to use as sets for amateur theatrics, as room decoration, or as tents for other toys and objects. Reintroduced, the outside label reads: “Large-Colorful-Easy to Assemble-For Creating a Light, Bright Expandable World Large Enough To Play In and Around", (just as it read over 60 years ago and the same fun is still as relevant). The Toy includes four colorful 30" squares and four 30" triangular panels, thin wooden dowels with pierced ends, and pipe cleaners for connectors. Set ups can be gleaned from instructions or use your imagination.
