Build your own model of the 1903 Wright Flyer with this set from The Atom Brick! Tackle the set design intricacies and learn how Orville and Wilbur Wright created and tested their air machine.

Both Orville and Wilbur Wright piloted the Wright Flyer on flight day. The Flyer was first piloted by Orville Wright and was airborne for 12 seconds, going a distance of 120 feet. On the fourth and final flight, Wilbur Wright flew for 59 seconds and going a distance of 852 feet. This was the last flight of The Wright Flyer as it was damaged by a heavy gust before any further repair and flights took place.

Featuring 288 pieces, The Atom Brick 1903 Wright Flyer set recreates the historic marvel in mini brick form.

Today, the Wright Flyer is on display at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC in the exhibit The Wright Brothers and the Invention of the Aerial Age.
