You can own a piece of real American history. Known to many as Fordite, this industry created agate was formed in the paint booths of automobile factories by overspray and dripping paint. By viewing the layers, you are almost able to identify what vehicles were coming down the line. Today, paint is applied with robotics in a very different way making this extinct gem: automotive collectible history.
The American artisan who created this jewelry began by slicing and polishing the raw Fordite material for the exact item he was creating. He followed up each pendant (leaf shaped finding), earring (leaf ear wires), or cufflink (post) with sterling silver.
