First Snow Small Plate

Ready just in time before the first snow falls!  Sometimes "simple" is what attracts us to design.  Interestingly, there is nothing simple about creating this holiday plate.  Where a potter can slip a design to the surface of a piece and call it complete, that is not what you have here.  Skill is required to apply the slip design but here the potter rolls that design in to keep a perfectly flat surface.  If there is even the slightest amount of over-slip or too much pressure applied to the surface, the design fails. You will enjoy using this plate throughout the winter season. Redware.  6"dia.
