Cider, beer and ale mugs, like this were used at Eagle Tavern. Based on a collection piece from 1886, it is decorated with cobalt blue slip in a tulip floral pattern measuring 5" x 3" (capable of holding 16 oz.) Finishes vary from warm brown to medium gray.
