This world-famous 1961 Lincoln Continental limousine rests on our museum floor at The Henry Ford. Ford Motor Company assembled the car at its Lincoln plant in Wixom, Michigan in January 1961. Hess & Eisenhardt of Cincinnati, Ohio customized the car to function as a presidential parade limousine with many special features.
It is with great reverence that thousands of visitors each year take a moment to reflect on that day in 1963 history when the United States lost a beloved President (in this vehicle). We are proud to be able to offer you this signature die cast for your remembrance. Black. Approx. 10" in length. Doors and hood open.
