Unique and dynamic digital educational module that uses oral history interviews of some of America’s iconic innovators for active teaching and learning. It is designed to be an introductory module for teachers, youth service providers, college instructors and corporate trainers. This 45 minute, 5-day, easy-to-implement module is geared to introduce participants to basic tenets of innovation as they explore traits and processes used by innovators, past and present. Later, participants can focus on keys of innovation that inspire them to be innovative in their own lives. Post-unit, project based learning activities and ideas can be used in the following weeks to inspire continued engagement. Innovation 101 engages participants in critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Developed by The Henry Ford educators, this module aligns with the National Curriculum Standards.
