Adapted from a "tub" from a pottery shop in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, this basket/pail measures 8"h x 6"w. Today this piece could be used to recycle vegetable shavings, as a planter, or a utensil holder. In the past it may have used for rendered fat.
